Sitjoles Way is a symbolic scene of passage—between worlds, between light and shadow, between self and others. A black sun bleeds in the sky while a single straight line crosses the painting, guiding a procession of figures with open arms. Beneath them, other bodies fall or float upside down, dragged by arrows as if gravity were emotional or moral.
The vibrant colors—reds, ochres, turquoise—create a wounded yet living landscape. This work becomes a metaphor for the act of walking: walking as resistance, as a choice to keep moving despite the wound. A visual reflection on presence, persistence, and the will to move forward.
