My works depict symbols of everyday life that express absurdities and shed light on what we accept as accustomed environment. The compositions present different aspects of human control over the environment, reflections on human behaviour through the type of connection we see between nature and the built world. The images question how routinely we adapt and show the importance of observation. Dissonance and irony often emerge, turning sometimes grim symbols into moments of unexpected humor. I primarily work with acrylic on canvas. My way of painting is greatly influenced by the attachment to memories and the desire to capture as many details as possible.
